Josiah celebrated his 5th birthday on July 22nd and we had a small party with our friends here in Ohrid. We dicided to have a combined birthday party with Joshua Kirkpatrick, whose birthday is in a few days. It was so much fun! We had pizza, a Scooby Doo Mystery Machine cake and ice cream. As you can see Josiah really enjoyed the ice cream! He got some fun presents, even some peanut butter and a movie from Nana and Papa T, which arrived on his birthday. Great timing Nana! Vlatko played happy birthday on his guitar and we all sang along. As many of you know, Josiah does not like to be the center of attention and this caused him to retreat to underneath the table for a few minutes. He got over it and later enjoyed swimming in the lake. All in all it was a really good day. Thanks to everybody who sent happy birthday wishes Josiah's way; I think he enjoyed hearing from everyone.
