Judah had been counting down the days till his birthday so you can imagine how excited he was when it finally came. We asked him if he wanted to have a party and invite some friends but he insisted, even after much pleading from Josiah to invite people, that he wanted it to just be us and so we honored his wishes. We decorated the house so that when he came home from picking Josiah up from school, the house looked like it was ready for a party, even if it was just us. By the look on his face you can see it thrilled him. After opening presents we had Batman birthday cake, chocolate by request, yeah! He got lots of goodies from his the grandparents and other family. We got him a scooter which he and Josiah ride around the circle in our house and outside. He later told us it was the best day ever:) which made me really happy we let him have his day, his way:)
