Wow, look at this mess!

Josiah has become a young man who now notices that things are messy around the house, except his own messes. He walks into the bathroom this morning and exclaims, "Wow, it sure is a mess in here!" He then begins to tell me all the things that are out of place. I asked him if his room was clean and told him to go look. He looked, gave a big grin and ran away to play. I have to tell you that before this incident he went into our team mates house, walked into their bedroom and said, "It sure is messy in here!" After being questioned about his own parents bedroom, he told Brian (our team mate) that his Mommy and Daddy's room was never this messy. Oh, where has he been?!? This is a great illustration of how quick we are to judge someone else and their "mess" and do not even see our own "mess". The funny thing is that their room is most often the messiest of all. It is a great reminder to take the plank out of our own eye first huh? But. . . you have to love the honesty of a child:)
